From today, updated statistics of Corona virus in the state will be announced at 24 hour intervals. 3 thousand tests are done every day in the state. No reduction was made in the test. The same tests will be done as before. Out of 3000 tests per day, 2500 tests will be done in different areas while 500 tests will be done among the quarantined people. Of the 67 patients who died, 60 were suffering from the disease. Serious illnesses such as diabetes and TB lower the immune system. People with serious illness need to be extra careful. The elderly and children are not allowed to go out, said Jayanti Ravi, the frontline health secretary
The number of positive patients reached a total of 2,407 With 13 more deaths reported on Wednesday, the death toll in Gujarat has risen to 103. So far a total of 39,421 tests have been conducted in Gujarat out of which 2407 were positive and 37014 were negative.
Some of the 45 patients to be discharged in Vadodara today will be counseled by Muslim-minded doctors to become plasma donals.
