The controversial circular of the government dated 1-8-18 has been quashed by the Gujarat High Court. The court has clearly pointed out that only 33 per cent of the reserve is to be given to women. It aims to include all women including ST, SC, socially backward in 33 per cent. The government was also given a 7-step guide to complete the entire process. Against which more than 100 women staged a picket at the Satyagraha camp in Gandhinagar. On the other hand, women candidates in the non-reserved category rushed to Gandhinagar and filed an application not to cancel the GR.
