Launch: Anniversary edition of the scooter launched in India on the completion of 20 years of Activa, starting price Rs 66,816

Honda Activa has completed 20 years in India. On this occasion, the company has launched the anniversary edition of its scooter. The ex-showroom price of this edition has been kept at Rs 66,816. Customers will be able to buy this scooter in standard and deluxe variants. The ex-showroom price of its deluxe variant is Rs 68,316. The price of this anniversary edition of Activa is Rs 1,500 more than the current model.
Honda launched the Activa scooter in 2001. It has become the best selling scooter in India in the last 20 years. The company launches the next generation Activa every year. It has sold over 22 lakh units in India so far. The Hero is the second best-selling two-wheeler after the Splendor bike.
What will be special in Anniversary Edition?
The look of this edition of Activa has changed. You can buy it in two colors Pearl Nightstar Black and Matte Mature Brown Metallic. It has a gold Activa badge on the side. The front and side of the scooter have long stripes of white and yellow color. It will have black steel wheels and a black crankcase cover.
No changes were made to the engine
No changes have been made to the Activa engine. It is powered by the already available BS6 compliant 109.5cc fuel injected single cylinder engine in the Activa 6G. It generates 7.79PS of power and 8.79Nm of torque. It will also have features like LED headlights, 12-inch front wheels, telescopic front suspension. In the Indian market, it will compete with TVS Jupiter (Rs 64,077 - Rs 70,802) and Hero Maestro Edge 110 (Rs 61,450 - Rs 62,950).
