When in school, the wearing of masks will be compulsory for students, teachers and staff. All students will have to follow a strict hand hygiene routine, and will sit six feet apart in classrooms.
In view of people thronging shops to buy things and also at bus stands, they have been advised to maintain physical distancing norms and wear a mask at all times. Stating that in some countries, there has been a fresh wave of cases and infections, the State government said that it was important to follow all preventive measures and take precautions.
The danger of COVID-19 hasn’t subsided yet, but there gradually the country is getting back to its pre-lockdown stage. While almost everything in the country has restarted, schools weren’t reopened due to the obvious threat.

As Thanksgiving weekend approaches, many in our campus community will be travelling within the province and beyond, or getting together with friends and family. While travel throughout Canada remains without restriction at this time, we remind all employees and students to follow safe practices while travelling and gathering to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and to help keep our community healthy. Those who travel outside of Canada are required to quarantine for a 14-day period following the Government of Canada Quarantine Act. If you are travelling outside of Canada, you must report this to Residence. You will need to find off-campus accommodations to complete your 14-day quarantine period at your own expense. We ask that students and employees be extra vigilant upon your return from family celebrations and travel, using the daily self-assessment tool and limiting contact with others for the first week or two, given the province's experience with rising COVID-19 cases after long weekends and holiday events.
