Now anyone can easily access and download important documents such as PAN card, driving license saved in Digilocker through WhatsApp when needed. This feature can prove to be very convenient for common people.

The government has taken this initiative with the aim of making government services accessible, inclusive and transparent
Under this initiative, any citizen can access and download documents saved in Digilocker through MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp.
PIB gave the information by tweeting
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) tweeted, 'Citizens can now access documents like PAN Card, Driving License and Vehicle Registration Certificate. People can access Digilocker related services on WhatsApp via @mygovindia Helpdesk'

People using WhatsApp can send 'Namaste or Hi or Digilocker' to WhatsApp number +91 9013151515. After this they will be able to use the services of DigiLocker. Through this, a DigiLocker account can be setup or verified. Not only this, documents like PAN card, driving license and vehicle registration certificate can be downloaded on WhatsApp
