The Lander Module (LM) of the Indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) ambitious third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the lunar surface on Wednesday evening. The lander module consists of the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan, which landed near the moon's south polar region at around 6.40 pm on Wednesday.
