Gujarat State Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched this beneficial scheme for girls 'Vahli Dikri Yojana Form', which translates as 'Dear Daughter Scheme'. The concept of this scheme is to improve the girl child birth rate by strengthening the socioeconomic status of the girl child in the society, preventing their drop out ratio and preventing their child marriage, promoting a positive mindset change in the society.
Gujarat government is running Vahli Dikri Yojana (Dear Daughter Scheme) for the girls of the state. Under this Vahli Dikri Yojana, the state government will provide Rs. 1 lakh will be given. This assistance amount of one lakh will be given when the girl turns 18 years. People can fill the Wahali Dikri Yojana application form to avail the assistance and get the amount of assistance provided under the scheme.
Vahli Dikri Yojana Assistance Amount
The plan will also have an early intervention component. When the first and second daughters of the family take admission in Class I, they get Rs. 4000 will be provided financial assistance, on admission to class 10 Rs. 6000 will be given as assistance. Vahli Dikri Yojana Eligibility
Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojana was started to improve the birth rate of girls and the government is trying to strengthen the socio-economic status of girls in the society. Any interested candidates who want to apply in this scheme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
Interested candidates should be permanent resident of Gujarat state
The scheme will be for girls from poor families, whose income is less than 2 lakhs.
Only the first two girls of the family are eligible to apply for this scheme
Applicant must have a bank account and the bank account must be linked with Aadhaar
This scheme is for all category people, any category girl will be eligible for this scheme.
Apart from this, no other special qualification is required to apply for the scheme.
