Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Priority House Hold Ration Cardholders will be given 5 kg of chickpeas free of cost through ration shops from December 1. A few months ago, the central government announced a scheme to provide one kilogram of chickpeas to Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Priority Household cardholders from July to November under the second phase of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, an official in the district supply officer's office said.
