With reference to the above subject, to state that the dates of vacation in all the primary and secondary schools of the state are the same, the Diwali vacation date for the primary schools in the state is as per the date mentioned in the school activity calendar published by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar every year. From 28/10/2024 to 17/11/2024 a total of 21 days are scheduled.
The District Education Officer and the District Primary Education Officer have been in coordination regarding the said matter
Dates of vacation have to be announced as suggested. So that the vacation date of children of both primary/secondary schools can be same. The District Education Officers have to communicate this letter to Government, Granted and Independent Teaching Temples, Child Teaching Temples, Experimental Schools and all the schools under your control.
Further, to state that henceforth, no separate circular regarding notification of Diwali and summer vacation will be issued by this office. Academic session and vacation dates as determined by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are to be followed. If there is any change in the vacation dates, it will be notified separately. Take note of that. Enclosure:- As above
