Gonotsava 2.0 (School Accreditation) process is being conducted by GCERT in State Government Primary Schools from 2019-20 and in State Government and Grant-in-Aid Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools from 2023-24. So far a total of four rounds of accreditation of primary schools and 1 round of accreditation of secondary and higher secondary schools have been completed and report cards have been provided to all the schools.In Vadhubhan National Education Policy-2020 Bh P627-8 (Standard Setting and Accreditation for School Education), some recommendations have been made for improving the quality of school education. in which It is very important that a school follows certain criteria to provide quality education. To establish State School Standard Authority (SSSA) at the state level for determining standards related to imparting quality education.

For quality assessment of schools under SSSA, the School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) should be created by SCERT in consultation with various stakeholders (stakeholders) in the state, keeping in mind various criteria of global level, under which school accreditation by GCERT would be included. A framework has been created.

In order to determine the accountability of schools under SSSA, it is recommended that the correct and updated details be placed before the public in a transparent manner through the website. Accordingly, school accreditation data by GCERT-GSQAC will be placed on the website in the form of public disclosure to facilitate feedback from the stakeholders. will happen

The entire school accreditation process will be cross-verified by schools through verifiers in schools up to a maximum of 33% of the total number of schools earmarked for school accreditation under this part. The grade based on evaluation by the verifiers will be the final grade for the schools in which the process of cross verification will be conducted.

As mentioned above, the guidelines for Goonutsav 2.0 (School Accreditation) which will be started shortly in government primary, secondary and higher secondary schools as well as grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools are enclosed herewith. For detailed explanation of the process of school accreditation, training will be organized by GCERT through BISAG-N for all school principals, head teachers and CRC co-ordinators.In all the above matters, the schools are requested to give necessary instructions from your level and to send the guidelines in soft copy to the schools involved in the enclosure for further study.
