GSEB Class 10 board examinations will be able to obtain their marksheets between from 11 am to 2 pm at respective district examination centres ​on today (Tuesday, 21 May). All principals are requested to collect marksheets from concerned authorities. This year, the Gujarat board conducted the SSC Class 10 exams between 7 March and 19 March at more than 1,500 centres across the state.

In case if a student does not manage to pass the exam, the board gives them another chance to appear and qualify the exam. Such students can appear for supplementary exams which generally is held in July month. Those who have failed in one or two subjects can apply for the supplementary exam. After the exams are completed, the board declares GSEB HSC supplementary exam result. Students need to collect their supply result from their respective school itself.

Last year, girls had outperformed boys in GSEB Class 10 board examinations with a pass percentage of 72.69 percent, while boys stood behind with 63.73 percent. Similar trend was seen among private and external candidates as boys recorded a pass percentage of 5.13 percent and girls doubled it to 11.70 percent.

This year, approximately 7.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams, which was conducted between 7 March and 19 March at more than 1,500 centres across the state.

Girls of the state scored higher than the boys. The girls passing percentage was 72.64%. While boys passing percentage was 62.83%. A total of 11 lakh students appeared for SSC exams including the regular students ( 8,22,823), repeaters (2,52,736) and private students (24,955). The pass percentage of the repeaters was 17.23% and private was 10.13%. Apart from this, the Gujarat board has recorded the district wise performance too. Gir Somnath and Surat were the two districts who scored the highest pass percentage.

As per the reports, around 8,22,823 students appeared for class 10th students. Out of the total 5,51,023 students able to pass the exams. The overall passing percentage of SSC students was 66.97%. However, there was a decline of 0.53% in the overall pass percentage.

After the Gujarat Board Result 2020 is declared, the first more things to do is to download the GSEB 10th Result 2020 and GSEB 12th Result 2020 or print a hard copy of the same. Although the students will be provided the facility to download and to take a printout of the GSEB 10th Result 2020 and GSEB 12th Result 2020 scorecard, they must remember that these are merely provisional results. The students are informed by the board that the online score cards of the Gujarat Board Results 2020 will not be considered in place of original, and are provisional. The students should download the GSEB Result 2020 on their system only for offline viewing, and to be used as a reference for admission formalities. Authorities will always ask for the original mark sheets issued by the board to corroborate the online / printed scorecard before completing their admission formalities.
