Consideration is being given to open closed schools in Gujarat after Diwali. Today, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama held an online meeting of principals, SMC members and parents of various schools in Kutch to know their views. In the meeting held in the presence of the education officers of the district primary and secondary education office, 18 important suggestions have been sorted out and sent to the director of primary education and the board of secondary and higher secondary education. The suggestions made in the meeting are as follows: First, schools of Std. Classes of 10th and 12th should also be given priority
First standard 9 to 12 schools should be started. It should also give priority to 10th and 12th classes. 20 to 25 students per class should be placed in the classroom. Schools should ensure full compliance with COVID-19. Schools should have more entry points for admission of students. It is possible to get the consent form to send the parents of the students to the school and also to see the certificate of the health department that the child is not infected.
it should be studied along with the discussion of the main topics of Std. 10-12. It should be seen that the child leaves the school by the parent himself. Students as well as staff should be given immunity booster doses from the government or other institutions for not sending the child in another vehicle. Students should use items brought from home such as snacks, water bottles etc. Such schools should admit 50 per cent of the hostels only after testing each child
Schools should be started in rural areas where transition is less than in urban areas. Immediate schools can be started even in urban areas where there is no containment zone. Shifts can be started as per standard in schools. Children from rural areas who come to study in urban schools should be allowed to study in rural areas only. Students should be called with a gap of 1 hour according to the class as well as leave should be kept accordingly. Students in rural areas have difficulty in standard 11-12 science stream due to network problem so such classes should be started immediately.
In the present situation, academic work should be started in the school with the same success as in public examinations. The Mandal and Achayas should be especially vigilant to ensure that the school is sanitized daily. Banners on how to prevent or prevent the virus should be put up every day. If the school is started, the facility for hand washing should be increased in the school.
