WhatsApp: The world’s most popular instant messaging app WhatsApp keeps changing its app from time to time, the company is now going to add a special feature in WhatsApp to make it user friendly. A recent WhatsApp update revealed that the company is working on the Companion Mod feature, and that this could be rolled out soon.
This has been revealed in the latest beta update.
According to WhatsApp update firm WABetaInfo, WhatsApp’s Companion Mod feature has been spotted in the Android beta version 2.22.11.10. According to reports, this feature will allow the user to login to WhatsApp on different phones.
According to WABetaInfo, shared screenshots indicate that WhatsApp may soon release this Companion Mod. This feature allows users to link a WhatsApp account to another account. The screenshot shows that users will not be able to use WhatsApp in both the phones, as it appears that the app is logged out of the primary phone as soon as the other phone is logged in.
It is to be mentioned that this feature is currently in the development stage, the company has not given any official information about this yet. It is also not known when WhatsApp will release this on Android or iOS.
